My Favorite Race: Jesse Owens 10k, Moulton,
Alabama
Why? The course is flat, it’s held in late may so it’s the
last race before summer weather hits. the best part of
this race is the size of the field of runners and the way
the community members all get behind the event. It’s
in its 26th year, with several hundred runners
participating.
Why do you run?: I run to feel good about myself, to
feel strong, to face a challenge head-on every day and meet it.
I usually run: 45 minutes minimum, 90 minutes
maximum, unless training for a longer race
Time of Day: 5:30 am
