George Washington Carver Peanut Run

The George Washington Carver Peanut Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 14.  The 5K Run (3.1 miles) will begin at 8:00 a.m. (Central Time) and the 1 Mile Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. (Central Time) in historic downtown Tuskegee, Alabama.

The entry fee is $10.00 and each participant will receive a commemorative George Washington Carver Peanut Run t-shirt.  Awards will be given by age group. All fees collected will go towards expenses for the George Washington Carver Arts & Crafts Festival on Saturday, May 12.  The Festival is in honor of famous scientist, artist and humanitarian George Washington Carver who lived in Tuskegee from 1896-1943.
